I’m a frequent doughnut enthusiast, so I was excited to try two different varieties and sample what this shop had to offer. Unfortunately, I left feeling quite disappointed with the overall quality. The biggest issue was freshness. The doughnuts lacked the light, airy texture and softness I look for in a freshly made doughnut. Instead, the texture and flavor reminded me more of something you might find sitting in a grocery-store bakery—without that fresh, warm quality that makes a doughnut memorable. I will say that the staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and very informative about the products, which I genuinely appreciated. Unfortunately, the quality of the doughnuts themselves did not match the level of service or product knowledge. For someone who really enjoys doughnuts and values freshness and texture, I would recommend exploring other options before settling here.

Amazing donuts and excellent coffee! Everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully made. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend! 🍩☕

I have been coming to Dutch Monkey since I was a kid, and it will always be my favorite local donut shop! In addition to the delicious variety of donuts they offer, their lattes are amazing, and the atmosphere is homey and welcoming. It is a place of nostalgia from when my family and I would spend our mornings waiting in line, watching the bakers through the windows they have set in place for kids, and am reminded of those happy memories every time I step inside. I frequently use the drive through, and am always greeted by friendly smiles! I recommend Dutch Monkey to everyone I can, and it is truly one of Forsyth County’s best hidden spots.

Good, not great. Pre-Covid, this place was 11/10. It’s still good, but never really returned to what it was. Donuts are good … unique flavors, good quality ingredients. Our favorites are the cake variety. Yeast donuts are good, but somewhat less consistent. Employees up front “moderately” friendly; prices are quite high. Variety has gone down over the past few years. No need to leave 20% of the cup empty to “top off.” Still good, but more like 7.5-8/10. Hope they can address some of the shortfalls.

I work in the area and heard about this donut shop. I am not a big fan of donuts but this shop is so good. The donuts taste great and the sweetness is at the right level. I definitely recommend to try.
